The Mexico men's national team is returning to the United States to continue its 2023 MEXTOUR and tickets just went on sale for three of its upcoming matches, including a highly anticipated encounter with Germany in Philadelphia.
After winning the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, El Tri will visit the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Atlanta during the September FIFA international calendar. Those encounters will be against Australia and Uzbekistan respectively.
During the October window, Mexico will face Ghana at a venue to be announced later — in about two weeks' time, according to a MEXTOUR spokesperson — and will also face Germany in a marquee matchup in Philadelphia.

Now in its 20th edition, Mexican National Team U.S. Tour matches have been branded as the MEXTOUR. Every year, El Tri holds international friendlies with an average attendance of 60,000 fans per match from coast to coast. A recent study by Equation Research identified 60 million fans of the Mexican National Team in the United States, making it one of the most followed sports teams in the country.

When is the Mexico soccer team coming to the United States?
The Mexico men's national team is scheduled to visit the cities of Dallas and Atlanta in September. Philadelphia is confirmed for October, with another city to be named at a later date.

Who will feature in the El Tri matches in September and October?
Mexico will be able to count on a strong roster, if it chooses to do so, because the dates land during FIFA's international fixtures calendar. That means that any player around the world must be given permission by his club to participate.
Among the awaited names for fans is rising star Santiago Gimenez, who scored the game-winning goal in the 2023 Gold Cup Final. Team captain and goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, defensive midfielder Edson Álvarez, attacking midfielder Orbelin Pineda, and striker Henry Martin could also headline the upcoming rosters, if healthy.
The Mexican Football Federation has yet to announce a permanent head coach for the senior national team. Whoever the coach is will have a say in the players that are called up.
