We're at it again.
To help our audience at The Striker get a better sense of what the 2023 MLS season will bring, we're previewing all 29 teams ahead of Opening Day on Feb. 25.
As we did last year, we determined the projected finishes for teams in each conference based on the votes of four of our MLS writers. This year, Victor Araiza, J. Sam Jones, Alex Ruiz and Phil West submitted rankings, we added those together, and arrived at an aggregate ranking of all 15 Eastern Conference teams and all 14 Western Conference teams.
On Friday, Feb. 10, we started our countdown with who we projected to be the 15th best team in the East. On Saturday, Feb. 11, we're revealing both the East and West's 14th-place team — based on predictions that might either be spot on or will urge those teams' players and coaches to print and laminate the results for inspiration. We'll continue to go up the list as we approach the season's launch, revealing the top teams on Feb. 24.
And, if you like what you see, consider subscribing to The Striker. We're excited to cover the upcoming season to see just how right or wrong we were in our predictions, and would love for you to become part of our community of readers.
Oh, and bookmark this page! A lot of this info will come in handy as you're trying to catch up to all that's happened this offseason.
