The Houston Dynamo FC roster has begun to take shape ahead of the 2023 MLS season. The club announced four more returning players on Monday to follow the extension of defender Daniel Steres.
Forward Corey Baird and defenders Ethan Bartlow, Griffin Dorsey and Adam Lundqvist will be back after the club exercised contract options on these four players. The club declined options on forward Mateo Bajamich, defender Ian Hoffman, midfielder Marcelo Palomino, forward Thiago and defender Zarek Valentin.
Additionally, the team still has to make a decision of if it plans to retain the likes of forwards Fafa Picault and Darwin Quintero, midfielder Memo Rodriguez and defender Zeca prior to the November 14 deadline. Midfielder Darwin Cerén and defender Sam Junqua are out of contract and the club announced it issued an extended bona fide offer to Junqua earlier this month.
