Austin FC’s academy is hosting a goalkeeper combine at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex on April 10-11, with 40 spots available to young goalkeepers born between 2004 and 2010.

Over the course of the two days, aspiring goalkeepers will be trained by the academy’s goalkeeping coach Diego Restrepo, who has more than 10 years of playing experience in Venezuela and Colombia as well as the U.S. Restrepo has a further seven years of experience in coaching, including time with Charlotte United and Trinity University.
Those born in 2004 could potentially be eligible for the academy’s Under 17 team, which it has been mooted that the club is next year looking to add to its current roster of U13, U14 and U15 squads.
Applicants are expected to meet all requirements for the combine, one of which is to wear all black attire. For more details and instructions on how to apply, visit here.
